In 1996, in downtown Niterói, RJ, an old dental prosthetics laboratory became a small factory for dental mannequins. Prodens Produtos Odontológicos Ltda was then formed, with the mission of creating solutions to facilitate the daily life of dentistry students – making the learning process in dentistry schools more convenient and pleasant –, and always investing in practicality, functionality, and design. In October of 2001, Prodens was transferred to an area of 9,000 m2 in Rio do Ouro, in the city of São Gonçalo, RJ. In 2009, the new headquarters was inaugurated with a structure allowing for the creation of even better solutions for odontology in Brazil and the world.Our goal is to actively participate in developing the future professionals of dentistry. For this reason, we work closely with the professors, students, and business partners in the constant exchange of information, research, development, and in the technical supervision on the use of the products in universities, courses, and dental offices.
